River Street Media was established in 2013 having purchased BBC Haymarket as part of a management buyout. The highly successful and renowned portfolio of BBC Good Food Shows and BBC Gardeners World Live has a 24 year heritage and the Shows are regarded as some of the most successful consumer events in the UK. Over 230,000 visitors attend the shows with a further 3 events to be launched under the BBC license in 2014 set to add thousands more to this number.
